Pathfinders

The Pathfinder club is a worldwide program organised and directed by the Department of Church Ministries at the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It offers a wide range of learning experiences for young people ten to fifteen years of age, and is operated by the local Seventh-day Adventist Church under the direction and control of the Director of Children’s Ministries of the South Queensland Conference.

Pathfinders is filled with action, adventure, challenge and group activities, and provides opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team or community spirit and a sense of loyalty and respect for God, His creation and His church.

ADVENTURERS

Adventurers is for Children aged 6 to 9 years. To qualify to join adventurers children must be 6 by 30 June or Grade 1 to start in Busy Bees.  Your child/ren will learn interesting topics through the Adventurer year and gain skills that they can remember for a long time.  There is an opportunity for your child to interact with others their age, go on outings, complete “Awards” which are topics on nature, health and fitness, safety and the Bible.  I would encourage you as their caregiver to come along and join in with your child.  Our leaders are a credit to our organisation and develop healthy friendships with your child throughout the year.

If you would like to know more about Pathfinders or Adventurers please contact the Children’s Ministries Department at the South Queensland Conference Office sqchildren@adventist.org.au.
